Our 8,000 members of staff care for a diverse population of one million people in the boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Harrow, and beyond, from four hospitals over three acute sites and several satellite locations in our community.
We have a lot to be proud of. We’re home to one of the country’s top-rated hyper-acute stroke units, one of three hyper-acute rehabilitation units, and one of four FGM clinics in London for non-pregnant women.
Our mortality rate is the tenth lowest in the country, which is a credit to our focus on patient safety, and the way we learn from our care.
Our accident and emergency departments at Northwick Park and Ealing hospitals are some of the busiest in the country. Despite record patient numbers, our fantastic teams have worked hard to improve our A&E performance. In fact, over the last three years we’ve gone from one of the lowest performing trusts to one of the most improved.
We’re a research active organisation, with more than 5,000 patients participating in ground-breaking research programmes each year. It’s our commitment to research and education that led us to become a University Trust: we’re training the clinicians of the future and bringing the benefits of research to the public.
Our ambitious transformation plan has delivered some significant improvements in the way we work. By putting transformational and improvement tools in hands of our clinicians, we want to make a lasting impact on the way we care for our patients.

We’re looking for someone who can deliver sustained transformation and improvement, continue to improve performance internally all while collaborating with and influencing the sector, as well as other Trust stakeholders.
